And I have to say, it works really well for taking off makeup without irritating or drying out my skin. It goes deep into the pores and cleans them thoroughly, leaving my skin clean, happy, and balanced.
Speaking of exfoliation, let me tell you a little secret. LumiSpa is different from other devices. It doesn’t harm your skin’s delicate microbiome.
I didn’t have any breakouts from using the LumiSpa. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, there are gentle heads and cleansers for you.

The LumiSpa iO device is good and effective, even without using the smart features or the VERA app.
So even if I’m lazy and don’t use the app, I still get the same LumiSpa experience I’m used to.
LumiSpa Reviewed by my Dermatologist
This is where I 1st set eyes on the LumiSpa 3 years ago whilst having a facial in salon treatment. She handed me a lumispa to feel on my hand and recommended it to me as an everyday cleansing routine I could do in the comfort of my own home.

Our skincare needs are always changing, from season to season and throughout our life. During the menopause, everything from hot flushes to changes in hormone levels can affect the skin so it’s important to adjust your routine depending on your skin’s needs.
Hormone changes during the menopause can cause changes to the condition of the skin, some women will find their skin more dry, while others may see acne again for the first time in years. My skin for instance became very dull looking and lacked lustre, this is because the naturally occurring oil in the skin that gives it its luminosity breaks down when the lipid barrier is comprised, leading to dreary, dull skin. The melanin cells are also in reduction and so, as well as the skin dulling, you will get the formation of sunspots and dark spots, I have one on my cheek I hate (thanks to my Boost device its reducing in size and colour) It;s so important to keep up with your SPF because the melonin is in slow production.

I would recommend you trying the Here You Glow Exfoliating Toner in my Nutricentials range suitable for all skin types, it leaves you with a healthy glow, alternate it with the Ph Balanced toner, that’s what I do a few days of one and a few days of the other.
• Facial Oils/serum
If you don’t already use one, now is the time to consider investing. If you’ve already boarded the facial oil train, try two drops under your moisturiser in the mornings to keep your skin protected throughout the day. Skin shouldn’t feel greasy when you do this, if it does, you’re using too much product. I would recommend the Celltrex Recovery Fluid Serum in my Nutricentials range here I adore the product it locks in moisture amazingly underneath your chosen moisturiser.
• Change your routine times
Take advantage of the darker nights and perhaps getting home earlier and do your routine as soon as you get in from work/school run/college. Full cleanse, tone serum/oil application. Go about your business, check your skin hourly until you go to bed, and reapply if you feel like your skin is still absorbing. The skin has done most of its repairing work by 11pm, so don’t leave it until 10.30 when you’re going to bed, give it as much time as possible.
• Upgrade your spritzes/mist spray – and use them liberally.
This is no time to be using spray water – like Evian in a can. You’ll be dehydrated already – most of us are in cold climates, and that will just make it worse. Use spritzes or essences that contain other ingredients, like minerals and oils, such as my NuSkin Moisture Mist Sprizt Spray it works as an extra layer of hydration and hold everything that follows in place, including individual serums and oils.
Moisturisers
Finish off your routine from oily to combination via dry and sensitive with a moisturiser, there’s a way for everyone to tackle winter skin. Here are my favourite moisturisers. SPF should be used throughout the year, even in the winter! Sunscreen should be worn every day you plan on spending any time outdoors, all year round. Irecommend the Day Dream Protection Moisturising Light Lotion with added SPF30 it forms a gorgeous light base protection underneath your makeup.If you are just indoors chilling I would recommend the Dew all Day Moisture Restore Cream (my absolute favourite) its creamy light texture gives your skin a gorgeous dewy effect even without wearing makeup it contains aloe vera so its so kind to your skin.
